THE INCOMER is a 2026 British coming-of-age comedy drama film written and directed by Louis Paxton. The film had its world premiere in the Sundance Film Festival's NEXT section in 2026, where it won the NEXT Innovator Award.
On a remote Scottish isle, siblings Isla and Sandy hunt birds and talk to mythical beings while fighting off outsiders. Their lives change when Daniel (Domhnall Gleeson), an awkward and socially inept council official, arrives to evacuate them.
The cast includes Domhnall Gleeson, Gayle Rankin, Grant O’Rourke, Michelle Gomez, and John Hannah.
