THE WHISPER MAN is a 2026 horror crime thriller film directed by James Ashcroft, from a screenplay by Ben Jacoby and Chase Palmer. The film is based on the novel of the same name by author Alex North.
When his eight-year-old son is abducted, a widowed crime writer (Adam Scott) looks to his estranged father (Robert De Niro), a retired former police detective, for help, only to discover a connection with the decades-old case of a convicted serial killer known as "The Whisper Man."
The cast includes Adam Scott, Robert De Niro, Michelle Monaghan, Michael Keaton, John Carroll Lynch, Hamish Linklater, and Owen Teague.
