The critically acclaimed NBC drama This Is Us broke out two years ago with it's debut season and hasn't looked back, stunning audiences with a unique blend of comedy and dramatic real-life situations. The cast is absolutely stellar, and I can honestly say this is one of if not my overall favorite new show simply because of how rare it is for a T.V. show to display this much genuine emotion and heart (keep the tissues close by) - and this show takes risks other shows simply aren't willing to take. The cast includes Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Sterling K. • Mandy Moore, the youngest actor in the main cast, won her role after an audition suggested by writer Dan Fogelman, whom she knew from working on Tangled (2010).

• Almost completely broke when she landed the role of Kate on the series, Chrissy Metz only had 81 cents in her bank account when she auditioned.

• Jack, played by Milo Ventimiglia, is the only main character to appear in every episode in the first season.

Written and directed by Coralie Fargeat, Revenge is a tense thriller about a woman who finds herself literally fighting for her life after taking what was meant to be a romantic getaway. I picked this hidden gem up as a rental (I heard about it previously) knowing that it had great reviews from critics so I wanted to check it out for myself. This is a very well-acted indie thriller but it does require a very strong stomach as it is extremely graphic. I was extremely impressed with director Coralie Fargeat and her unique directing style. You can find Revenge for rental either on disc or On-Demand, it should also be available on Shudder. Check out the official trailer for yourself below!!
