• Damien Chazelle's first choice to play the role of Neil Armstrong was always Ryan Gosling. Gosling was even rumored to be attached to the project during its development stage but nothing was officially confirmed. It wasn't until after Gosling did La La Land (2016) with Chazelle that Gosling would officially sign on to do the project.

• The first film directed by Damien Chazelle in which he didn't write the script.

• Bradley Cooper began planning his vision for this film while working as a producer on American Sniper (2014), which was directed by Clint Eastwood. Cooper originally wanted Beyoncé to star alongside him, however, negotiations soon failed, and Cooper wanted Lady Gaga instead. After Cooper and Gaga performed a screentest together, Warner Brothers executives were impressed with their on-screen chemistry and greenlit the project.

From director Olaf de Fleur Johannesson, a native of Iceland, Malevolent is a horror about siblings who run a scam posing as a duo that can communicate with those who have passed on. After they receive an assignment to investigate an orphanage where gruesome murders took place the scam is officially over. I’m not sure what to expect from this movie but it’s October and I will give anything horror a chance so bring it on! Check out the official trailer below.
