A Mouthful of Air

A Mouthful of Air is a 2021 drama film, directed, written, and produced by Amy Koppelman, based on her novel of the same name. Julie Davis writes bestselling children's books about unlocking your fears, but has yet to unlock her own. When her daughter is born, that trauma is brought to the fore, and with it, a crushing battle to survive.

The cast includes Amanda Seyfried, Finn Wittrock, Jennifer Carpenter, Michael Gaston, Amy Irving and Paul Giamatti.

A Mouthful of Air is scheduled to be released in theaters on October 29th, by Stage 6 Films.

Monster

“A smart, likeable, 17-year-old film student from Harlem sees his world turned upside down when he's charged with a murder. We follow his dramatic journey through a complex legal battle.”

The Sundance drama Monster, directed by Anthony Mandler, is based on the 1999 young adult novel of the same name by Walter Dean Myers, which received many awards, including the National Book Award for Young People’s Literature. Originally premiering at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, Monster was first picked up by Entertainment Studios before Netflix nabbed the rights late last year and added it to their promise of a new movie every week in 2021.

7 Yards: The Chris Norton Story

Naked Singularity

Naked Singularity is a 2021 comedy drama, directed by Chase Palmer in his directorial debut, from a screenplay by Palmer and David Matthews. It is based on the 2008 novel of the same name by Sergio De La Pava.

It tells the story of Casi (John Boyega), a promising young NYC public defender whose idealism is beginning to crack under the daily injustices of the very justice system he’s trying to make right. Doubting all he has worked for and seeing signs of the universe collapsing all around him, he is pulled into a dangerous high-stakes drug heist by an unpredictable former client (Olivia Cooke) in an effort to beat the broken system at its own game

The full cast includes John Boyega, Olivia Cooke, Bill Skarsgård, Ed Skrein, Linda Lavin, and Tim Blake Nelson. The film had its world premiere at the San Francisco International Film Festival, on April 9th, 2021.

Night Teeth

Licorice Pizza is a 2021 coming-of-age drama film written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, who also serves as co-cinematographer. The story of Alana Kane and Gary Valentine growing up, running around and going through the treacherous navigation of first love in the San Fernando Valley, 1973.

The film stars Alana Haim, Cooper Hoffman, Sean Penn, Tom Waits, Bradley Cooper, and Benny Safdie.

The Hating Game is a 2021 romantic comedy directed by Peter Hutchings. It is based on the best-selling novel The Hating Game, by Sally Thorne.

The story of ambitious good girl Lucy Hutton (Lucy Hale) pitted against her cold, efficient work nemesis, Joshua Templeton (Austin Stowell), for a huge promotion at publishing company Bexley & Gamin. Trapped in a shared office, Lucy embarks on a ruthless game of one-upmanship against Josh, a rivalry that turns increasingly complicated by her mounting attraction to him after an innocent elevator ride turns NSFW. Is it love or just another game in their never-ending pursuit for the top job?

Clickbait is an 2021 Netflix original drama series, created by Tony Ayres and Christian White. Ayres serves as showrunner, while Brad Anderson, Emma Freeman, Ben Young, and Laura Besley are set to direct. The series explores the ways dangerous and uncontrolled impulses are fueled in the age of social media, and reveals the ever-widening fractures between virtual and real-life personas.

The cast includes Zoe Kazan, Betty Gabrierl, and Adrian Grenier.

Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin is a 2021 found footage supernatural horror directed by William Eubank, written by Christopher Landon, and produced by Jason Blum and Oren Peli. Serving as the seventh installment and a reboot of the Paranormal Activity series. The film follows a young woman trying to discover what happened with her mother, who disappeared years ago, until she discovers a terrifying truth about her mother's past.
