The Fantastic Four: First Steps

THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS is a 2025 superhero film directed by Matt Shakman, from a screenplay by Jeff Kaplan, Ian Springer, Josh Friedman, Cameron Squires, Eric Pearson, and Peter Cameron. It based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the Fantastic Four, created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is intended to be the 37th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and the second reboot of the Fantastic Four film series. 

Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, the Fantastic Four must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer.

The cast includes Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ralph Ineson, Julia Garner, Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, Natasha Lyonne, and Sarah Niles.

Happy Gilmore 2

HAPPY GILMORE 2 is a 2025 sports comedy film directed by Kyle Newacheck, and written by Tim Herlihy and Adam Sandler. It is a sequel to Happy Gilmore (1996).

Thirty years after winning his first Tour Championship, retired golfer Happy Gilmore returns to the sport to pay for his daughter Vienna's ballet school.

The cast includes Adam Sandler, Julie Bowen, Christopher McDonald, Ben Stiller, Benny Safdie, and Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio.

I Know What You Did Last Summer

I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER is a 2025 horror slasher film directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, who co-wrote the screenplay with Sam Lansky after an initial draft with Leah McKendrick. It is the fourth film in the I Know What You Did Last Summer franchise, serving as a direct sequel to I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998).

A group of friends are terrorized by a stalker who knows about a gruesome incident from their past.

The cast includes Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui Wonders, Jonah Hauer-King, Tyriq Withers, Sarah Pidgeon, Billy Campbell, Gabbriette Bechtel, Austin Nichols, Lola Tung, Nicholas Alexander Chavez, Freddie Prinze Jr., and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Eddington

EDDINGTON is a 2025 contemporary Western black comedy film written and directed by Ari Aster. The film will have its world premiere at the main competition of the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.

In May of 2020, a standoff between a small-town sheriff (Joaquin Phoenix) and mayor (Pedro Pascal) sparks a powder keg as neighbor is pitted against neighbor in Eddington, New Mexico.

The cast includes Joaquin Phoenix, Pedro Pascal, Luke Grimes, Deirdre O'Connell, Micheal Ward, Amélie Hoeferle, Clifton Collins Jr., William Belleau, with Austin Butler, and Emma Stone.

Superman

SUPERMAN is a 2025 superhero action adventure film written and directed by James Gunn, based on the populary DC comics character. Produced by DC Studios and to be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, it will be the first film in the DC Universe (DCU), and serves as a reboot of the Superman film series.

Follows the titular superhero as he reconciles his heritage with his human upbringing. He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way in a world that views this as old-fashioned.

The cast includes David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult, Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio, María Gabriela de Faría, Wendell Pierce, Alan Tudyk, Pruitt Taylor Vince, and Neva Howell.

BALLARD is a 2025 crime drama series created by best-selling author Michael Connelly. The series is based on Conelley’s female detective character Renee Ballard, who works alongside Harry Bosch in the books.

LAPD Detective Renee Ballard (Maggie Q) oversees a new cold case division in the department.

Dexter: Resurrection

DEXTER: RESURRECTION is a 2025 crime drama series created by Clyde Phillips. The series takes place immediately following the events of DEXTER: NEW BLOOD.

After surviving a gunshot from his son Harrison, Dexter wakes from a coma to find him missing. He searches NYC to reconcile, but Batista's arrival brings past troubles. Father and son must face their darkness together to escape.

The cast includes Michael C. Hall, Jack Alcott, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, JillMarie Lawrence, Bryan Lillis, and Jason Alan Carvell.

Jurassic World: Rebirth

JURASSIC WORLD REBIRTH is a 2025 science fiction action adventure film directed by Gareth Edwards, from a screenplay by Michael Crichton and David Koepp. The film is a standalone sequel to Jurassic World Dominion (2022), it is the fourth Jurassic World film and the seventh installment overall in the Jurassic Park film series. 

Five years post-Jurassic World Dominion, an expedition braves isolated equatorial regions to extract DNA from three massive prehistoric creatures for a groundbreaking medical breakthrough.

The cast includes Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Luna Blaise, David Iacono, and Ed Skrein.

The Old Guard 2

THE OLD GUARD 2 is a 2025 superhero film directed by Victoria Mahoney, from a screenplay by Greg Rucka, based on his comic book The Old Guard. the film is a direct sequel to the 2020 film, THE OLD GUARD (preview and trailer here).

Andy (Charlize Theron) and her team of immortal warriors are back, with a renewed sense of purpose in their mission to protect the world. With Booker (Matthias Schoenaerts) still in exile after his betrayal, and Quynh (Veronica Ngô) out for revenge after escaping her underwater prison, Andy grapples with her newfound mortality as a mysterious threat emerges that could jeopardize everything she’s worked towards for thousands of years.

The cast includes Charlize Theron, KiKi Layne, Marwan Kenzari, Luca Marinelli, Matthias Schoenaerts, Vân Veronica Ngô, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Uma Thurman, and Henry Golding.

I DON’T UNDERSTAND YOU is a 2024 dark comedy horror film written and directed by Joseph Craig and Brian Cano. The film premiered at the SXSW film festival March 8th, 2024.

Stranded in rural Italy without transportation or language skills, an American couple on the verge of adopting tries to reconnect during a disastrous vacation, as their fears and relationship problems threaten to boil over.

The cast includes Nick Kroll, Andrew Rannells, Amanda Seyfried, Morgan Spector, and Eleonora Romandini.

M3GAN 2.0

M3GAN 2.0 is a 2025 science fiction horror thriller film directed by Gerard Gladstone (Housebound), from a screenplay by Akela Cooper (Malignant, The Nun 2) and a story by horror legend James Wan, the man behind the Saw, Insidious, and The Conjuring franchises. the film is produced by Blumhouse, the production company behind the Halloween films, The Black Phone, and The Invisible Man. It is the sequel to the 2023 horror film, M3GAN (our full review here).

Two years after M3GAN's rampage, her creator, Gemma, resorts to resurrecting her infamous creation in order to take down Amelia, the military-grade weapon who was built by a defense contractor who stole M3GAN's underlying tech.

The cast includes Allison Williams, Jermaine Clement, Violet McGraw, Ivanna Sakhno, Amie Donald, Brian Jordan Alvarez, Jenna Davis, Timm Sharp, Aristotle Athari, and Jen Van Epps.

The Bear: Season 4

28 Years Later

28 YEARS LATER is a 2025 post-apocalyptic horror film produced and directed by Danny Boyle, and written by Alex Garland. The third in the 28 Days Later film series, following 28 DAYS LATER (2002) and 28 WEEKS LATER (2007). The film marks the returns of Boyle, Garland, and cinematographer Anthony Dod Mantle to the series, all of whom worked on the original film, with Cillian Murphy also serving as executive producer. The film was confirmed to have been shot back-to-back with its sequel 28 YEARS LATER: THE BONE TEMPLE which was directed by Nia DaCosta, written by Garland, and produced by Boyle and Garland.

28 years after the Rage virus escaped a medical research laboratory, survivors have found ways to exist amidst the infected. One group lives on a small island connected to the mainland by a single, heavily-defended causeway. When a father and his son leave the island on a mission into the dark heart of the mainland, they discover secrets, wonders, and horrors of the outside world.

The cast includes Jodie Comer, ​Aaron Taylor-Johnson, ​Jack O'Connell, ​Alfie Williams, ​and Ralph Fiennes.

How To Train Your Dragon

HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON is a 2025 live-action fantasy adventure film written, co-produced, and directed by Dean DeBlois. It is a live-action remake of the 2010 film of the same name which was inspired by Cressida Cowell’s New York Times bestselling book series. It is the first live-action production from DreamWorks Animation, as well as its first production to be a remake.

On the rugged isle of Berk, where Vikings and dragons have been bitter enemies for generations, Hiccup (Mason Thames) stands apart. The inventive yet overlooked son of Chief Stoick the Vast (Gerard Butler), Hiccup defies centuries of tradition when he befriends Toothless, a feared Night Fury dragon. Their unlikely bond reveals the true nature of dragons, challenging the very foundations of Viking society.
