I have been waiting my entire life for a movie that is basically The Purge but instead of making all crime legal for 24 hours, drugs and alcohol are legal instead - actually now that I think about it only drinking one day out of the year sounds like my nightmare.
So the Hulu original movie The Binge hits the streaming service this week, and it is set in a time where all drugs and alcohol are illegal and the only day anyone can participate in the fun is on Binge day. So basically its present day prohibition without the speakeasys - sounds BRUTAL. But lucky for us the trailer actually looks really funny.
Directed by Jeremy Garelick (The Wedding Ringer), The Binge stars Vince Vaughn, Skyler Gisondo (Vacation, Booksmart), and Dexter Darden (The Maze Runner).
