What We Do in the Shadows is a series spin-off of the 2014 film from directors and co-writers Jermaine Clement and Taika Waititi (the film is currently streaming on Amazon Prime). The series, written by Clement and directed by Waititi, follows the daily (or rather, nightly) lives of four vampires who've lived together for over 100 years, in Staten Island.
