BUDDY is a 2026 dark comedy horror film directed by Casper Kelly, from a screenplay he co-wrote with Jamie King. The film premiered in the Midnight section of the 2026 Sundance Film Festival on January 22, 2026.
A group of children are trapped inside a surreal 1990s-style children's television show and must try to escape when their giant, bright-orange unicorn host turns into a brutal, malevolent nightmare.
The cast includes Cristin Milioti, Topher Grace, Delaney Quinn, Caleb Williams, Bennie Taylor, Eric Bauza, and Patton Oswalt.
