I loved the first film and I felt that it was cast perfectly so I can't wait for this one! The cast includes Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, and Walter Goggins. Directed by Stefano Sollima and written by talented writer Taylor Sheridan (Hell or High Water, Wind River, Sicario), Sicario: Day of the Soldado is the follow-up to the hit 2015 crime thriller, and Sheridan promises that the sequel will take the violence to the next level which is crazy considering how intense the first film was. Sheridan has proven to be a genius when it comes to writing scripts for intense crime thrillers so I can't wait for this! I am sad that Emily Blunt won't be returning but considering how the first film ended i'm not necessarily surprised.
