False Positive

A Hulu original film, False Positive is a 2021 horror thriller from production company A24, directed by John Lee, written by Ilana Glazer and John Lee. After months of trying and failing to get pregnant, Lucy (Ilana Glazer) and Adrian (Justin Theroux) finally find their dream fertility doctor in the illustrious Dr. Hindle (Pierce Brosnan). But after becoming pregnant with a healthy baby girl, Lucy begins to notice something sinister through Hindle's gleaming charm, and she sets out to uncover the unsettling truth about him, and her own “birth story.” As if getting pregnant weren't complicated enough.

The film stars Ilana Glazer, Justin Theroux, Pierce Brosnan, Sophia Bush, and Gretchen Mol.

The Killing of Two Lovers

The film made it’s debut at the Sundance Film Festival in 2020, where they referred to it as “a captivating study on masculinity, love, and ambiguity, propelled by impressively nuanced and honest performances.”

Written and directed by Robert Machoian, the cast includes Clayne Crawford, Sepideh Moafi, Chris Coy, Avery Pizzuto, Arri Graham, and Ezra Graham.

Clarice

The Silence of the Lambs, the intense 1991 crime thriller starring Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins, is an absolute classic in every sense of the word. It was the jumping off point for all of the soon to release crime thrillers that would now be willing to push the limits.

CBS finally dropped the full-length trailer for it’s upcoming series Clarice, which is essentially a sequel to The Silence of the Lambs, picking up a year after the events that took place in the film. Pretty Little Liars actress Rebecca Breeds steps into the role of Jodie Fosters Clarice for the series.

The new series will premiere on Thursday February 11th, only on CBS. Check out the chilling new trailer below.

Hollywood finally got their sh*t together and have my guy Peter Dinklage in the role of a badass mob boss you just don’t mess with, took them long enough. I mean look at that full Game of Thrones looking beard, I wouldn’t cross him that’s for damn sure.

Wrong Turn

Back in 2003, a horror movie by the name of Wrong Turn released and would become somewhat of a cult classic. Starring in the film Jeremy Sisto, who is now starring in the crime series FBI, and the gorgeous Eliza Dushku, who has made a career in television for the most part ever since.

Fast forward nearly 20 years, and we have the 7th movie in the “Wrong Turn” movie-verse. Crazy right? What’s even crazier, is this movie actually looks pretty damn good.

Wrong Turn (2021) is directed by Mike P. Nelson (The Domestics) and written by Alan B. McElroy, the same guy who wrote the first film and the majority of the films since.

The cast includes Matthew Modine, Emma Dumont, Charlotte Vega, and Daisy Head.

Wrong Turn will be available limited release on January 26th and will release on Blu-ray and DVD February 23rd. Watch the official trailer below.
