Copshop is a 2021 action thriller film directed by Joe Carnahan, and written by Kurt McLeod and Carnahan, based on a story by McLeod and Mark Williams. Carnahan was behind the camera for some great action films like The A-Team (2010), the very underrated Smokin’ Aces (2006), and the 2021 Hulu original time-loop thriller Boss Level, also starring Frank Grillo.

Screaming through the Nevada desert in a bullet-ridden Crown Vic, wily con artist Teddy Murretto hatches a desperate plan to hide out from lethal hitman Bob Viddick: He sucker-punches rookie officer Valerie Young to get himself arrested and locked up in a small-town police station. But jail can't protect Murretto for long. Viddick schemes his own way into detention, biding his time in a nearby cell until he can complete his mission.

The cast includes Gerard Butler, Frank Grillo, Alexis Louder, and Toby Huss.

Four Good Days

King Richard

King Richard is a 2021 biographical drama directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green (Monsters and Men), and written by Zach Baylin. Based on the inspiring true story, the film follows the journey of Richard Williams, an undeterred father instrumental in raising two of the most extraordinarily gifted athletes of all time, who will end up changing the sport of tennis forever.

The film stars Will Smith, Aunjanue Ellis, Saniyya Sidney, Demi Singleton, Tony Goldwyn, Jon Bernthal, and Dylan McDermott.

King Richard is scheduled to be released on November 19th, courtesy of Warner Bros. Pictures, as well as a month-long simultaneous release on the HBO Max streaming service. Watch the official trailer below.

Those Who Wish Me Dead

From director Taylor Sheridan, the man behind Sicario, Hell or High Water, Wind River, and Yellowstone, Those Who Wish Me Dead is yet another tense crime thriller adding to his impressive resume. The film is based on the novel from Michael Koryta. The cast includes Angelina Jolie, Jon Bernthal, Nicholas Hoult, Tyler Perry, Aidan Gillen, and Finn Little.

Last Night in Soho

When the past lets you in, the truth will come out.

Written and directed by Edgar Wright, Last Night in Soho is a 2021 psychological thriller about a young girl, passionate in fashion design, who is mysteriously able to enter the 1960s where she encounters her idol, a dazzling wannabe singer. But 1960s London is not what it appears, and time seems to fall apart with shady consequence. The cast includes The Queen’s Gambit star Anya Taylor-Joy, Matt Smith, Thomasin McKenzie (JoJo Rabbit), and Terence Stamp.

Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway

Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway (also known simply as Peter Rabbit 2 in other territories) is a 2021 3D live-action/computer-animated adventure comedy film directed and co-produced by Will Gluck and written by Patrick Burleigh and Gluck. The film is a sequel to 2018's Peter Rabbit produced by Sony Pictures Animation and is based on the stories of Peter Rabbit created by Beatrix Potter. The film stars the voice of James Corden as the title character, alongside Rose Byrne, Domhnall Gleeson, and David Oyelowo in live-action roles, and the voices of Elizabeth Debicki and Margot Robbie.

After facing numerous delays from its original February 2020 release date due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the film was released theatrically by Sony Pictures Releasing under its Columbia Pictures label, first in Australia on 25 March 2021, before a release in the United Kingdom on 17 May 2021, and in the United States on 11 June 2021.

The Last Duel

The Last Duel is a 2021 historical drama directed by Ridley Scott. Based on the book The Last Duel: A True Story of Trial by Combat in Medieval France by Eric Jager, the screenplay is written by Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, and Nicole Holofcener. King Charles VI declares that Knight Jean de Carrouges settle his dispute with his squire by challenging him to a duel. Damon stars in the lead role opposite Adam Driver and Jodie Comer, with Affleck in a supporting role.

The Last Duel had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival on September 10th, 2021 and is scheduled to be theatrically released in the United States on October 15th, by 20th Century Studios. Watch the official trailer below.

Stillwater

Stillwater is a 2021 crime drama directed by Academy Award Winner Tom McCarthy (Win Win, Spotlight), based on a script he co-wrote with Marcus Hinchey, Thomas Bidegain, and Noé Debré. It tells the story of a father who travels from Oklahoma to France to help his estranged daughter, who is in prison for a murder she claims she didn't commit. The film is loosely based on the story of Amanda Knox.

The cast includes Matt Damon, Camille Cottin, and Abigail Breslin.

Stillwater had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on July 8th, 2021. It is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 30th, courtesy of Focus Features. Watch the official trailer below.

A Quiet Place Part II

Written and directed by John Krasinski, A Quiet Place: Part II a 2021 horror thriller and is the follow-up to the hit 2018 film that excited both audiences and critics. Following the events at home, the Abbott family now face the terrors of the outside world. Forced to venture into the unknown, they realize the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats lurking beyond the sand path. The cast includes Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe, Millicent Simmonds, and Cillian Murphy.

The King's Man

The King's Man is a 2021 action thriller directed by Matthew Vaughn, from a screenplay by Vaughn and Karl Gajdusek, and a story by Vaughn. The third instalment in the Kingsman film series, which is based on the comic book The Secret Service by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons, the film serves as a prequel to 2014's Kingsman: The Secret Service and 2017's Kingsman: The Golden Circle.

In the early years of the 20th century, the Kingsman agency is formed to stand against a cabal plotting a war to wipe out millions.

Mr. Corman

Mr. Corman is a 2021 comedy-drama television series created, written, directed and starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

The series follows the days and nights of Josh Corman, an artist at heart but not by trade. Things haven’t been going his way lately – his lifelong dream of a career in music didn't pan out and he finds himself teaching fifth grade at a school in the San Fernando Valley, his ex-fiancé Megan has moved out and his high school buddy has moved in. Aware that he still has a lot to be thankful for, Josh struggles nevertheless through universal feelings of anxiety, loneliness and self-doubt.

Red Notice is a 2021 action thriller film written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber. In the world of international crime, an Interpol agent attempts to hunt down and capture the world's most wanted art thief.

Starring Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, and Ryan Reynolds. This marks the third collaboration between Johnson and Thurber after Central Intelligence (2016) and Skyscraper (2018).

Dexter: New Blood
