Marry Me

Marry Me is a 2022 romantic comedy directed by Kat Coiro, with a screenplay by John Rogers, Tami Sagher and Harper Dill, based on the graphic novel of the same name by Bobby Crosby.

Music superstars Kat Valdez and Bastian are getting married before a global audience of fans. But when Kat learns, seconds before her vows, that Bastian has been unfaithful, she decides to marry Charlie, a stranger in the crowd, instead.

The cast includes Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson, Maluma, John Bradley, and Sarah Silverman.

Marry Me is scheduled to be released on February 11, 2022 by Universal Pictures, and will be streaming on Peacock the same day. Check out the trailer below.

Raised by Wolves: Season 2

Raised by Wolves is a sci-fi drama series created by Aaron Guzikowski, with Ridley Scott, who directed the first two episodes, serving as executive producer.

Android partners Mother (Amanda Collin) and Father (Abubakar Salim), along with their brood of six human children, join a newly formed atheistic colony in Kepler 22 b’s mysterious tropical zone. But navigating this strange new society is only the start of their troubles as Mother’s “natural child” threatens to drive what little remains of the human race to extinction.

Jackass Forever

Jackass Forever is a 2021 stunt/prank style comedy directed by Jeff Tremaine and produced by Tremaine, Spike Jonze, Johnny Knoxville, and Steve-O. It is the fourth film in the Jackass franchise.

Celebrating the joy of being back together with your best friends and a perfectly executed shot to the dingdong, the original jackass crew return for another round of hilarious, wildly absurd, and often dangerous displays of comedy with a little help from some exciting new cast members. Johnny and the team push the envelope even further this time around.

The film stars Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Jason "Wee Man" Acuña, Preston Lacy, Ehren McGhehey, and Dave England, alongside new cast members Sean "Poopies" McInerney, Jasper Dolphin, and Zach Holmes. Production companies include Paramount Players, MTV Films, Dickhouse Productions, and Gorilla Flicks.

Moonfall

Moonfall is a 2022 science fiction drama film co-written, directed, and co-produced by Roland Emmerich. Spenser Cohen and Harold Kloser also contributed to the script.

A mysterious force knocks the Moon from its orbit around Earth and sends it hurtling on a collision course with life as we know it. With mere weeks before impact and the world on the brink of annihilation, NASA executive and former astronaut Jo Fowler is convinced she has the key to saving us all – but only one astronaut from her past, Brian Harper and a conspiracy theorist K.C. Houseman believes her.

The cast includes Halle Berry, Patrick Wilson, John Bradley, Michael Peña, Charlie Plummer, Kelly Yu, and Donald Sutherland. The film was shot in Montreal with a $140 million budget, making it one of the most expensive independently-produced films of all time.

Pam & Tommy

Pam & Tommy is a 2022 biographical drama miniseries based on Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee and actress Pamela Anderson’s whirlwind romance that started with them marrying after only knowing each other for 96 hours in 1995. The story centers around a sex tape from the couples honeymoon that is stolen and leaked to the public.

Directed by Craig Gillespie with Robert D. Siegel serving as showrunner, the series is based on the Rolling Stone article Pam and Tommy: The Untold Story of the World’s Most Infamous Sex Tape, from L.A. based journalist Amanda Chicago Lewis, who also serves as a writer for the series.

The cast includes Lily James and Sebastian Stan as Anderson and Lee, and also stars Nick Offerman, Seth Rogen, Taylor Schilling (Orange is the New Black), and Andrew Dice Clay.

Reacher

Reacher is a 2022 crime thriller series developed by Nick Santora, and produced by Amazon. The series is based on the Jack Reacher book series from author Lee Child.

Based on Child’s first Jack Reacher novel Killing Floor, the series introduces Reacher after he just recently entered civilian life. He is a drifter, carrying no phone and the barest of essentials as he travels the country and explores the nation he once served. When Reacher arrives in the small town of Margrave, GA, he finds a community grappling with its first homicide in 20 years. The cops immediately arrest him and eyewitnesses claim to place Reacher at the scene of the crime. While he works to prove his innocence, a conspiracy begins to emerge, one that will require Reacher’s keen mind and hard-hitting fists to deal with.

The cast includes Alan Ritchson, Willa Fitzgerald, Malcolm Goodwin, Kristin Kreuk, Bruce McGill, and Chris Webster. All eight episodes of the Amazon Original Series’ first season will drop on the same day.

Murderville

Murderville is a 2022 murder-mystery streaming television series created for Netflix. The series is based on the BBC Three television series Murder in Successville.

Terry Seattle (Will Arnett) and his guest celebrity partner improvise their way through a scripted murder investigation without the script.

The Afterparty

The Afterparty is a 2022 murder mystery comedy streaming television series created by Christopher Miller that is set to premiere on Apple TV+.

After a murder is discovered at a high school reunion, the attendees try to remember what happened, despite all of them remembering the fateful night differently and the murderer remaining at large.

Starring Tiffany Haddish, Sam Richardson, Zoë Chao, Ben Schwartz, Ike Barinholtz, Ilana Glazer, Dave Franco, Jamie Demetriou, and John Early.

The Fallout

The Fallout is a 2021 drama film written and directed by Megan Park, in her feature directorial debut. Park is an actress who has worked mostly on television projects, but did star in the 2013 film What If.

The film stars Jenna Ortega as Vada Cavell, a high school student who navigates significant emotional trauma following a school shooting. The film also stars Maddie Ziegler, Shailene Woodley, Julie Bowen, John Ortiz, Niles Fitch, and Will Ropp in supporting roles. The score is composed by American musician and actor Finneas O'Connell.

The Fallout had its premiere at South by Southwest on March 17th, 2021, and is set to be released January 27, 2022 on HBO Max, courtesy of Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema. Watch the official trailer below.

Small Engine Repair

Small Engine Repair is a 2021 American black comedy drama film written and directed by John Pollono based on Pollono's play of the same name.

Frankie (John Pollono), Swaino (Jon Bernthal) and Packie (Shea Wigham) are lifelong friends who share a love of the Red Sox, rowdy bars and Frankie's teenaged daughter Crystal (Ciara Bravo). But when Frankie invites his pals to a whiskey-fueled evening and asks them to do a favor on behalf of the brash young woman they all adore, events spin wildly out of control. Based on Pollono's award-winning play, Small Engine Repair is a pitch-black comedic drama with a wicked twist and a powerful exploration of brotherhood, class struggle and toxic masculinity.

While the Byrdes' fate hangs in the balance, the dire circumstances force the fractured family to reconnect.

The Gilded Age

The Gilded Age is a 2022 historical drama television series created by Julian Fellowes and Sonja Warfield, and is co-directed by Michael Engler and Salli Richardson-Whitfield.

In 1882, young Marian Brook moves from rural Pennsylvania to New York City after the death of her father to live with her aunts Agnes van Rhijn and Ada Brook. Accompanied by Peggy Scott, an aspiring writer seeking a fresh start, Marian inadvertently becomes enmeshed in a social war between one of her aunts, a scion of the old money set, and her stupendously rich neighbors, a ruthless railroad tycoon and his ambitious wife, George and Bertha Russell. Exposed to a world on the brink of the modern age, Marian must choose if she will follow the established rules of society or forge her own path.

The cast includes Christine Baranski, Cynthia Nixon, Taissa Farmiga, and Jeanne Triplehorn.

The King's Daughter

The King's Daughter (previously titled The Moon and the Sun) is a 2022 action adventure fantasy film directed by Sean McNamara from a screenplay by Barry Berman and James Schamus. It is based on the 1997 novel The Moon and the Sun by Vonda N. McIntyre. The film was partly filmed in the Palace of Versailles, which included a huge dance sequence filmed inside the Hall of Mirrors. Filming concluded back in 2014, and it is just finally getting released in 2022.

King Louis XIV's quest for immortality leads him to capture and steal a mermaid's life force, a move that is further complicated by his illegitimate daughter's discovery of the creature.

The film stars Pierce Brosnan as King Louis XIV, Kaya Scodelario as Marie-Josèphe, and Benjamin Walker as Yves De La Croix.

The King's Daughter is scheduled to be released only in theaters on January 21st, 2022, by Gravitas Ventures. Watch the official trailer below.
