HOPE is a 2026 South Korean science fiction action thriller film written and directed by Na Hong-jin. The film had its world premiere at the main competition of the 79th Cannes Film Festival on May 17, 2026, marking the first South Korean film to compete for the Palme d'Or since Decision to Leave (2022). 

In the remote South Korea village of Hope Harbor, police chief Bum-seok (Hwang Jung- min) and officer Sung-ae (Hoyeon) are called to find a mysterious creature that has wreaked havoc on the village. In the nearby forest, a coterie of hunters, including Sung- ki (Zo In-Sung) set out to track the beast and find themselves hunted instead. But all is not as it seems, and perceptions can be misleading. What begins as ignorance plants the seed of disaster, escalating through human conflict into a tragedy of cosmic proportions.

The cast includes Hwang Jung-min, Zo In-sung, Jung Ho-yeon, Taylor Russell, Cameron Britton, Alicia Vikander, and Michael Fassbender.

DIGGER is a 2026 satire dark comedy drama film directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Alejandro G. Iñárritu, from a screenplay by he co-wrote with Alexander Dinelaris, Nicolás Giacobone, and Sabina Berman, from a story by Iñárritu & Berman. The film was shot entirely in VistaVision, a high-resolution widescreen film format introduced by Paramount Pictures in 1954.

The most powerful man in the world (Tom Cruise) embarks on a frantic mission to prove he is humanity’s savior before the disaster he’s unleashed destroys everything.

In medieval Britain, a mysterious creature stalks the foggy countryside, transforming local folklore into terrifying reality as villagers face an ancient supernatural threat.

CRAWLERS is a 2026 horror thriller film directed by Ángel Gómez Hernández, from a screenplay by Jayson Rothwell.

Lowen Ashleigh (Dakota Johnson) gets hired by Jeremy Crawford (Josh Hartnett) to ghostwrite novels for his bestselling author wife Verity (Anne Hathaway), who's unable to finish after an accident. Lowen uncovers Verity's disturbing truths while residing at the Crawfords' home to work.

OTHER MOMMY is a 2026 horror thriller film directed by Rob Savage, from a screenplay by Nathan Elston (Succession). The film is based on the New York Times bestselling novel Incidents Around the House, written by author Josh Malerman. VISIONQUEST is a 2026 television miniseries created by Terry Matalas for the streaming service Disney+, based on the Marvel Comics character Vision. The series is a spin-off from the miniseries WandaVision (2021).

After being resurrected in WandaVision (2021), the android Vision lives in hiding while he attempts to understand who he is by communicating with various AI personas that are embedded in his programming. When a bounty is placed on Vision's head, he goes on the run with a mysterious teenager who may be his reincarnated son.
