FIGHT OR FLIGHT is a 2025 action comedy directed by James Madigan, from a screenplay by Brooks McLaren and D.J. Cotrona.

A mercenary (Josh Hartnett) takes on the job of tracking a high-value asset known only as The Ghost on an international flight. Realizing the plane is filled with assassins assigned to kill them both, the pair must work together in a fight for their lives.

Shadow Force

SHADOW FORCE is a 2025 action thriller film directed by Joe Carnahan and co-written by Carnahan and Leon Chills.

An estranged couple with a bounty on their heads must go on the run with their son to avoid their former employer, a unit of shadow ops that has been sent to kill them.

The cast includes Kerry Washington, Omar Sy, Mark Strong, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, and Cliff “Method Man” Smith.

Clown in a Cornfield

CLOWN IN A CORNFIELD is a 2025 horror slasher film directed by Eli Craig (Tucker & Dale vs. Evil) and written by Craig and Carter Blanchard. The film is based on the Bram Stoker-Award winning 2020 horror novel of the same name by Adam Cesare. Cesare has written three books so far based on Frendo the clown, with a 4th on the way. The film was acquired by Shudder and RLJE Films.

A fading midwestern town in which Frendo the clown, a symbol of bygone success, reemerges as a terrifying scourge.

The cast includes Katie Douglas, Kevin Durand, Will Sasso, Cassandra Potenza, and Aaron Abrams.

NONNAS

NONNAS is a 2025 comedy drama film directed by Stephen Chbosky, from a screenplay by Liz Maccie. Production companies Madison Wells and Matador Content purchased Scaravella's life rights and developed the project with screenwriter Maccie.

After the loss of his mother, Joe Scaravella (Vince Vaughn) risks everything to honor her by opening an Italian restaurant with a group of local grandmothers as the chefs.

The cast includes Vince Vaughn, Lorraine Bracco, Talia Shire, Brenda Vaccaro, Joe Manganiello, Linda Cardellini, and Susan Sarandon.

Based on a true story, NONNAS is a heartfelt celebration of the love of food, family and all the ingredients of life.

Sharp Corner

SHARP CORNER is a 2024 drama thriller film written and directed by Jason Buxton. The film, which has been in development since late 2010, is based on the short story by Russell Wangersky.

A dedicated family man (Ben Foster) becomes obsessed with saving the lives of the car accident victims on the sharp corner in front of his house – an obsession that could cost him everything.

Thunderbolts*

THUNDERBOLTS* is a 2025 superhero film directed by Jake Schreier and written by Eric Pearson, Lee Sung Jin, and Joanna Calo, based on the Marvel Comics team Thunderbolts. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is set to be the 36th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

After finding themselves ensnared in a death trap, an unconventional team of antiheroes must embark on a dangerous mission that will force them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts.

Another Simple Favor

ANOTHER SIMPLE FAVOR is a 2025 black comedy mystery film directed by Paul Feig and written by Jessica Sharzer and Laeta Kalogridis. It is a sequel to A Simple Favor (2018). The film is set to premiere at the South by Southwest Festival on March 7th, 2025.

Stephanie Smothers (Anna Kendrick) and Emily Nelson (Blake Lively) reunite on the beautiful island of Capri, Italy, for Emily’s extravagant wedding to a rich Italian businessman. Along with the glamorous guests, expect murder and betrayal to RSVP for a wedding with more twists and turns than the road from the Marina Grande to the Capri town square.

The Surfer

THE SURFER is a 2024 psychological thriller film directed by Lorcan Finnegan (Vivarium) and written by Thomas Martin. The film premiered in the Midnight Screenings section at the 77th Cannes Film Festival on May 18th, 2024.

A man returns to the idyllic beach of his childhood to surf with his son. But his desire to hit the waves is thwarted by a group of locals whose mantra is “don’t live here, don’t surf here.” Humiliated and angry, the man is drawn into a conflict that keeps rising in concert with the punishing heat of the summer and pushes him to his breaking point.

The Accountant 2

THE ACCOUNTANT 2 is a 2025 action thriller film directed by Gavin O'Connor and written by Bill Dubuque. It is the sequel to THE ACCOUNTANT (2016). The film is scheduled to premiere at South by Southwest on March 8th, 2025.

Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck) has a talent for solving complex problems. When an old acquaintance is murdered, leaving behind a cryptic message to “find the accountant,” Wolff is compelled to solve the case. Realizing more extreme measures are necessary, Wolff recruits his estranged and highly lethal brother, Brax (Jon Bernthal), to help. In partnership with U.S. Treasury Deputy Director Marybeth Medina (Cynthia Addai-Robinson), they uncover a deadly conspiracy, becoming targets of a ruthless network of killers who will stop at nothing to keep their secrets buried.

Until Dawn

UNTIL DAWN is a 2025 horror thriller film directed by David F. Sandberg, from a screenplay by Blair Butler and Gary Dauberman. The film is based on the PlayStation Studios video game of the same name. Sandberg is no stranger to the horror genre, having previously directed Lights Out (2016), and Annabelle: Creation (2017), and even dabbled in the superhero genre with Shazam! (2019), and the sequel Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023). The film is “very loosely” based on the video game which has understandably rubbed fans the wrong way since the debut of the first trailer. I have faith this will be a very good horror movie because of the director, but I doubt it will feel very much like the game at all which I also very much enjoyed.

One year after her sister Melanie mysteriously disappeared, Clover and her friends head into the remote valley where she vanished in search of answers. Exploring an abandoned visitor center, they find themselves stalked by a masked killer and horrifically murdered one by one…only to wake up and find themselves back at the beginning of the same evening. Trapped in the valley, they’re forced to relive the nightmare again and again - only each time the killer threat is different, each more terrifying than the last. Hope dwindling, the group soon realizes they have a limited number of deaths left, and the only way to escape is to survive until dawn.

Havoc

HAVOC is a 2025 action crime thriller film written and directed by Gareth Evans, the man behind The Raid, The Raid 2, and Gangs of London.

After a drug deal gone wrong, a bruised detective (Tom Hardy) must fight his way through a criminal underworld to rescue a politician's estranged son, while unravelling a deep web of corruption and conspiracy that ensnares his entire city.

The cast includes Tom Hardy, Jessie Mei Li, Justin Cornwell, Quelin Sepulveda, Luis Guzmán, Michelle Waterson, Sunny Pang, Jim Caesar, Xelia Mendes-Jones with Yeo Yann Yann, Timothy Olyphant, and Forest Whitaker.

The Legend of Ochi

THE LEGEND OF OCHI is a 2025 fantasy adventure film written and directed by Isaiah Saxon in his feature-film debut.

In a remote northern village, a young girl, Yuri, is raised to never go outside after dark and to fear the reclusive forest creatures known as the ochi. When a baby ochi is left behind by its pack, she embarks on the adventure of a lifetime to reunite it with its family.

The cast includes Helena Zengel, Finn Wolfhard, Emily Watson, and Willem Dafoe.

YOU: Season 5

The fifth and final season of the American psychological thriller television series, YOU. The final season was ordered by Netflix on March 24, 2023, with series co-creator Sera Gamble leaving as showrunner and replaced by Michael Foley and Justin W. Lo.

Joe Goldberg returns to New York City to live peacefully, but his dangerous past and desires threaten his new life.

The cast includes Penn Badgley, Charlotte Ritchie, Madeline Brewer, Anna Camp, and Griffin Matthews.

SINNERS is a 2025 gothic supernatural horror film written, directed, and co-produced by Ryan Coogler, the talented writer/director behind Fruitvale Station, Black Panther, and Creed. The film is produced by Coogler and frequent collaborators Sev Ohanian and Zinzi Coogler. The executive producers are Ludwig Göransson, Will Greenfield and Rebecca Cho. Oscar-winning composer Ludwig Göransson handled the music for the film.

Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers (Michael B. Jordan) return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back.

The cast includes Michael B. Jordan, Delroy Lindo, Jack O'Connell, Jayme Lawson, Wunmi Mosaku, Omar Benson Miller, Hailee Steinfeld, Lola Kirke, and Christian Robinson.

The Wedding Banquet

THE WEDDING BANQUET is a 2025 romantic comedy film directed by Andrew Ahn and co-written by James Schamus. It is a remake of the 1993 film. The film premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival.

A gay man makes a deal with his lesbian friend: a green-card marriage for him, in exchange for in vitro fertilization treatments for her. Plans evolve as Min's grandmother surprises them with a Korean wedding banquet.

The cast includes Bowen Yang, Lily Gladstone, Kelly Marie Tran, Han Gi-chan, Joan Chen, and Youn Yuh-jung.

Warfare

WARFARE is a 2025 war drama film written and directed by Iraq War Veteran Ray Mendoza and Civil War’s Alex Garland. Garland is a very talented director who recently blew audiences away with the war drama CIVIL WAR (our full review here), and this collaboration with Mendoza looks to have audiences in for quite a treat.

A platoon of Navy SEALs embark on a dangerous mission in Ramadi, Iraq, with the chaos and brotherhood of war retold through their memories of the event.

The cast includes D'Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Will Poulter, Cosmo Jarvis, Kit Connor, Finn Bennett, Taylor John Smith, Michael Gandolfini, Adain Bradley, Noah Centineo, Evan Holtzman, Henrique Zaga, Joseph Quinn, and Charles Melton.
